Amanda Michele Fernandez, DO

Amanda Fernandez, DO, is a family medicine physician with a special interest in preventive health, women's health, musculoskeletal medicine and procedures. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas Campus. Dr. Fernandez completed her family medicine residency training at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Hendersonville, North Carolina, before practicing rural family medicine in Sylva, North Carolina, for two years. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Fernandez enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog.
