Carol Pryby, MD, is a family medicine physician with special interests in geriatric medicine, acute care and hospital medicine. Dr. Pryby began her studies at the University of Georgia but married an Army pilot and finished her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Minot, North Dakota. She later returned to Georgia and attended Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She graduated with honors and stayed in Macon to complete her residency in family medicine.
Dr. Pryby chose family medicine as a specialty to experience the wide variety in patients and work environments. She has worked as an emergency medicine physician, a hospitalist, as a physician teacher in Savannah, Georgia, and previously owned a private practice in Macon.
She and her husband live near the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest with their two border collies.

I am not a fan of prisma at all and have little to no trust in them. We are stuck using them. However this Dr and the nurses have made it better.... I love this Dr and am so very grateful to have her and my PCP and her nurses. I sincerely appreciate thr knowledge paired witb genuine kindness.

My care at this facility is always excellent. Dr. Pryby is one of the best doctors I've had and is knowledgeable in so many aspects of health in general.

No improvement needed. I'm delighted with the care I receive from Prisma facilities, and, in particular, Dr. Pryby. She is always very patient , listens to me carefully, and takes as much time as needed. I feel very fortunate to be her patient!
