I think the doctor or nurse practitioner has to be mindful of her suggestions for treatment and not force weights, surgical weight loss, and be mindful of your bedside words, bedside manners. Thank you.

Professionalism

All wonderful. But not sending a survey would be better. Waste of time and money.

The provider seemed to get too caught up in my appointment being for a workers comp injury and didn't treat me like a patient seeking medical care should be treated. She didn't listen to my concerns about her wanting me to stay out of work until following up with ortho. I should have been able to return on light duty. She didn't even give me a sling for my shoulder injury.

Cathy is so kind and patient. She listened and was unhurried and made me feel heard and she cared.

Where do I begin? The nurse ck'ing vitals immediately began gossiping about another nurse. My vitals from my last visit apparently weren't entered so no comparison. The NP walked in the room and grabbed a BP cuff stating she'd be right back. I waited 1:15 over my scheduled time. She finally came in the room and said she was sorry for forgetting me. She tried to talk me out of a lab test because "she didn't know how to read those labs". She pointed to her body to show where on my body there was noticeable enlargement, never touching the area. After I told her I was 7 years postmenopausal she asked me if I was still having a period. She finished the visit with "nice to meet you". Although it's a thoughtful expression, we've met before and she should have seen that when she was NOT looking at my chart or listening to my issue.

Everything was handled very well. This doctor has a wonderful demeanor and great bedside manor. She's a very sweet lady and her nurse always tries to relate which makes you feel more comfortable with your circumstances.
