Dr. Elizabeth McBride grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went on to complete her orthopedic surgery residency and hand surgery fellowship through Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. Dr. McBride was drawn to orthopedic surgery because of the positive impact it has on an individual’s quality of life though both non-operative and operative treatments. Her goal is to help individuals successfully return to work and the hobbies they enjoy. Throughout her training, Dr. McBride has published articles in orthopedic hand surgery journals and presented her research at regional and national orthopedic surgery conferences. She is a member of the American Academy of Othropaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. McBride enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of East Tennessee with her husband, Dr. Jonathan McBride, and their two children, Harrison and Charlotte.
