Emily Rae Sanders, CPNP

Emily Sanders, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with Prisma Health’s Pediatric Gastroenterology division. Emily was raised in central Georgia and received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She then earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She worked as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit for six years before joining Prisma Health’s Pediatric Gastroenterology division in 2021. Emily serves on the social media committee for the South Carolina chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, exploring Columbia, trying new restaurants and relaxing with her husband and two dogs.
