We love Dr. Mathias. It's just consistently a long wait, even for morning appointments. That's difficult on an adult, let alone a preschooler. Both parents attend these annual well checks, so it's also time off work for us. We arrived at 8:40AM arrival for a 9AM appointment. We were put back in a room quickly ay 8:45AM, but then we weren't seen until 9:45AM. I am not sure how things always seem to get so far behind. Again, we love this doctor. I really blame the fact that the patient load is too high. Next year, we have asked for the absolute first appointment of the day. If that doesn't help, we may have to switch practices to avoid being away from preschool and work to wait.

Nothing to improve. Dr. Mathias is always very patient, kind, compassionate, and thorough. The office staff is always friendly and efficient and it's always easy to get an appointment in the necessary time. Thank you.

Dr. Mathias is an amazing pediatrician

We consistently have a 40 minute or longer wait at this office. It's very difficult because 1) we have to keep our child calm and happy in a boring environment 2) my husband and I are taken away from our jobs 3) my perception is that Prisma is taking as much money from insurance companies as they can by giving providers an absolutely unreasonable patient load, which makes me question if my child can even get good care anywhere. Seeing a squirmy young child for 10 minutes is just not enough time to build rapport, complete a thorough check up, and answer and questions. I love the provider we've chosen, she makes the best of it. It's very sad that our system is so horrific and we all suffer-- my career, child, and your doctors.

There isn't. Dr. Mathias is the best pediatrician I have had contact with.
