Heather Marie Elkin, FNP

Heather Elkin, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Heather spent more than a decade working as a registered nurse, gaining experience caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings and developing a passion for helping people achieve their best health.
Heather believes that the best healthcare begins with listening. She wants to create an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, participating in decisions about their care and working together to develop personalized treatment plans that fit their unique needs and goals. Her clinical interests include preventive care, women's health, and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and evidence-based medicine. She considers it a privilege to care for members of her community and looks forward to partnering with patients throughout every stage of life.
Originally from the Detroit, Michigan, area, Heather has lived in several parts of the country before settling in Upstate South Carolina with her husband and three daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, baking and walking her Doberman, Karma.
