I checked in for my appt with Precious - Parkridge ortho office foot/ankle. She was efficient, but never made eye contact - was focused on her computer screen. This was repeated with other patients who checked in, as I sat in the waiting area for several minutes. I work in health care, too, and I know how busy we are. But at least brief acknowledgement by looking up from your screen really helps someone feel welcome and comfortable.

Waited an hour in exam room. Work on scheduling enough time for physicians to see patients and respect patients' time
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/18/2026
I would have liked more information about what to anticipate as far as the pain was concerned. A little bit better bedside manner, but other than that, it was fine.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/16/2026
Yes, the wait was kind of long. It said that I had to be there at 2 and it looks like it was almost 3 o'clock before I was seen and no one told me what was going on, so I got a little anxious.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/14/2026
Had to rebook this appointment from the original time because of a nearly one hour wait time on the original appointment

Was very impressed, felt that I was getting the medical help I've been needing for a while Very informative and listened to the information I was giving about my foot

I was seen about 40 minutes after my appt time. Trying to stay as close to appt times as possible is appreciated, but I know the schedule is packed.

I can't think of anything now. I have had way more procedure and services with PRISMA than I care to admit. The care is quality and consistent. I hear negative feedback and I don't know how it is possible. I am grateful for you and in double digit year have had only one negative event at PRISMA. Keep up the great work.

Everything was awesome. I had the most trust in the team that took care of me and I would recommend them to anyone hands down.

I need not offer any suggestions
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/27/2025
No. Everything was fine. If anything, it's more so of things that could be implemented into the MyChart app and Prisma Health website for certain treatments; i mean things such as short videos on the best ways to prop up your leg while in bed vs chair, or mobility options when it comes to using the bathroom (toilet, shower) using crutches, a walker or knee short). This isn't a major problem as one can find these things in places such as YouTube, Reddit or Facebook groups, but it would be pretty nice if Prisma Health had it's own YouTube channel or social media with dedicated stuff like this.

We called ahead to be sure they had the progress report from the PT. We called our PT to refax a few days before appointment. Day of appointment, no report. Called PT from office at appointment. They refaxed again to a different number. Still no report for Dr Jackson during our eval appointment!!! Apparently, the fax goes into a main prisms bank and has to be " hand" separated into doctors que?!!! Then the fax the day of didn't come through because fax in Parkridge office was " out of ink" !!!! So we don't know if the information in the PT eval would have affected our new continued PT orders from Dr Jackson. Very aggravating and a system that needs updated and streamlined. A fax shouldn't take more than a week to get to the doctor!!! Then the office fax being out of ink is simply poor management . Information is key to treatment !! Then our script wasn't sent to CVS. So we sent Mychart messages and waited until the next day for order to be sent. Apparently the Rx had not been forwarded to be signed. The office called the next day and apologized. They were very nice and we appreciated them being up front! The staff is great! Just disappointed in the prisma fax pool as obviously they need more resources to get important faxes distributed!!

I felt the support was appropriate and I definitely trusted the friendly and professional care given to me from check in, to getting to the room, the wonderful X-ray personnel;, and then when Dr Jackson arrived, he was most cordial and professional. He went over my feet and ankles with care, examining both all over and explained things. I was very pleased with his approach and how he interacted with me. Kudos to all!

I waited an hour to see the doctor. I was in the waiting room for 40 minutes after my appointment time. It would have been nice for someone to acknowledge how long I had been waiting and give me an update on the wait time.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/1/2025
Both of my visits at this office have been great. Everybody was courteous, friendly, forthcoming with any information they thought would help me. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever with anyone I dealt with. After reading my resurface papers I do have some questions and will be getting in touch with the office. Thank you for this opportunity.

I messaged through the portal about a concern with my toe and its position today. I never heard anything back. My toe sticks up above the others now and I'm afraid it's going to remain that way. It looks ridiculous.

I love my care I received from the team. I had been in extreme pain for so long. I will always remember Dr. Jackson words when he said , what we have here, and proceeded to tell me what and how to fix my injury. That's just what he did. I am forever grateful for what DR. Jackson did for me. Trusted completely!! Thank you!

In seeing Dr. Jackson today, everything went very well. It is always a pleasure during these visits. Dr. Jackson is always very empathetic and through during the time he spends with me. He helps reassure me as he listens and advises me about what my concerns are. The staff is very polite and very helpful if needed. I leave very reassured, heard and with the confidence all my concerns were addressed appropriately. There is nothing more Dr. Jackson or his staff can do that hasn't been addressed during my visit. Thank you.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/25/2025
Both Dr. Jackson and the Reaident Doc was professional, courteous kind and displayed a genuine concern for me and the pain I have been experiencing. Dr. Jackson is also very thorough and wasn't anxious to immediately pull out a needle for i.jections or recommend surgery without being certain of the diagnosis.

Everyone in the office was friendly and professional. I felt rushed by Dr. Jackson. I know he is very busy but he talked way too fast and used very technical terms while examining me. I do not doubt his tremendous knowledge and know he is extremely qualified in his specialty and in the medical profession. He did explain everything perfectly, but he was speaking so fast that I felt rushed at the appointment.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/26/2025
Y'all did a fantastic job, from the girl on the phone that helped with appointment to the front desk. All the Doctors were great, the x-ray people, the nurses and the nurse that wrapped my toe and showed my wife how to take care of my toe. Everyone was awesome and I don't usually have great visits to Doctors that I see, y'all were the best and thanks to everyone ??

Dr Jackson informed me that he was going to prescribe me a prescription for an anti-inflammatory - my pharmacist usually notifies me via text when my prescription is ready. I have heard nothing. I'm not sure if the prescription was called in or my pharmacy has failed to fail.

As always Dr Jackson was amazing. He explained everything so I could understand it and told me what to expect going forward. Everyone in this practice is awesome!
