Listened, explained things and demonstrated a genuine care for patient. Too time necessary to answer questions.

Everything from start to finish was great

Dr Folk didn't see me. I believe a resident saw me which was fine. Only needed an injection in my hip

I can't think of anything that could have improved my experience-it was all good

I had specifically asked for an appointment with Dr. Folk hoping to discuss past MRIs and X-rays as well as the x-rays are requested for this appointment regarding my back and left hip area. I wanted his professional opinion as to what else I could do. I saw a resident who seemed very sharp; however I had specifically asked for Dr. Folk and I only saw him in passing. I will move onto another specialist.

Nothing-all good as usual

Clear communication after impactful weather and postponements or cancellations of major surgeries. SMLA requests denied.

The Dr that saw me (not Dr Folk) had clearly not looked at my chart. Wasn't aware of how long it had been since surgery.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 1/10/2026
Perhaps I should have been better prepared for this visit. It seemed, it was expected that I was to be scheduled for a particular surgery when in actuality I wanted to be certain that was what was needed. I had concerns that there were more than one concerns related to my hip replacement. I should have asked more questions and did not

The first words to greet me were my address, state my DOB and of course verify my insurance. I know you have business matters with which to attend. Maybe, "Welcome. Can I get you checked in?" would ease the stress of having to see a provider. Check out personnel were very friendly. If appointments are behind schedule inform the patient at check in. I have to be there on time. Respect my time with communication as I respect the facility's schedule.

When she was discharged from the hospital, the referral was sent over. I was told that I was gonna see Dr. Folk. When we got there, the appointment, the appointment was scheduled for Dr. Folk. But when I called to initially make the appointment, he said that he would not see her, that he canceled the referral. So both of my referrals were denied because they were not sent to the correct doctor, apparently. But then I called back the next day. The assistant checked into it and said, yes, he would see her. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Folk. Dr. Folk never took one step in the room. He sent a PA in there, very inconclusive information, did not rule out her diagnosis and told her to resume all activity. And I had seeked another professional and they are saying that this is absolutely not correct.

I met with Doctor Folks assistant and he was great. Even helped me with a shot to help the pain , and explained everything I needed to know, having surgery or if not having it. Set me up immediately with PT, and just helped quickly. I was a mess as I hate needles but he was great and all went better then I thought.

I was initially upset that I had to wait over a month for this appointment (understandable given his schedule) and wasn't even introduced to the surgeon I was assigned to see. It did not make me feel prioritized. However, after meeting and speaking with his PA, I felt better about the situation-given how knowledgeable and thorough they seemed. I still wish I was notified that this was the protocol. Even in understanding the time of a surgeon is limited-I believe this could have been communicated better. It certainly did not make me feel prioritized or respected.

So I have no disappointments with the facility. Everybody here is really great. And I hate to leave Tuesday, but I'm ready to go home. And thank you for checking in on me.

This was a follow up from hip surgery. I have only seen a PA except for one visit when I asked to see the doctor. I would have liked to see the doctor more.

My appointment went great, but my post op appointment was with Dr Folk and the resident came in instead. Although he was great and answered all of my questions, I do think Dr Folk should have come in the room. After all, my appointment was with him and it was my post op after an extensive surgery.

When a new patient is sent to a doctor, please, make sure the patient knows how to locate the office. When sent to a Patewood office, please, indicate which building to go to and once there which floor to go to.
