Katherine Beben, MD, is practicing her passion of seeing patients at the Center for Family Medicine-Oconee. Not only does she enjoy seeing patients in rural Oconee county, but also enjoys teaching the next generation of family medicine physicians. Her areas of interest include women's health with obstetric care, preventive medicine, home-based patient visits and office-based procedures. Dr. Beben loves to get to know her patients and their families and prefers to use lifestyle techniques when appropriate to prevent and treat disease rather than rely on prescription medications.

Nothing, appointment was my first with Dr. Beben, she was great. She was not familiar with my medical history because she was just receiving it during the appt. I am comfortable that she will have reviewed my history for our next visit. All the staff in the lab were great too.

I couldn't have asked for a better healthcare team and entrust Dr Beben with my care. She is attentive, compassionate and current with the medical standards that apply to me. The "nurse"? Not sure she was a nurse but very personable, knowledge and very friendly.
