Lisa A DuBose, FNP

Lisa A. DuBose, NP, was born and raised in the mid-Atlantic area. Growing up, she spent significant time at the local children’s hospital, as her youngest sister has spina bifida, which likely triggered her desire to become a nurse practitioner. She received her BSN from the University of DE School of Nursing. She has cared for children at Christiana Care, Shriners, and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. She completed her MSN/FNP at Clemson University. Lisa and her husband have 4 children and family life is very important to her. Lisa has been practicing in pediatric pulmonology many years and was initially trained by Dr. Jane Gwinn. She and her current partners work cohesively to manage the children entrusted to their care. The children they treat and the families they support often become like family, given the multiple visits necessary to treat the child's condition. Lisa enjoys caring for all her patients which include those with asthma, preemies, cystic fibrosis, or any disease that has adverse affects on the respiratory system. Lisa believes the patient, the family and the health care team must work together to develop the best plan of care to enable the best quality of life for the child and the family.
