Maribeth Williams, MD, was born and raised in Mississippi where her parents instilled in her a sense of service and kindness to others. After earning her medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she pursued family medicine residency training in Charleston, South Carolina, and obtained her Master of Science in clinical research from the Medical University of South Carolina through an academic fellowship. She then spent a decade at the University of Florida as a residency program director where she was dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of exceptional family physicians. She returned to South Carolina, her husband’s home, to raise their sons close to family.
Dr. Williams believes in holistic, patient-centered care and thrives on connecting with her patients and supporting them in their personal health care goals. Her other passions include quality improvement, encouraging healthy lifestyle behaviors and global health. On the weekends, you will likely find her chasing around her boys, enjoying a good book or engaging with her church family.

Make sure Nurse who takes blood carefully does, I ask why it was bleeding on my arm when she inserted needle. She says it does sometime. No biggie but needs this to improve. I used to donate blood a lot and rarely sees this issue of bleeding.
