I had some trouble with my insurance . Prisma said that my insurance wasn't in network and I think that I may have paid more out of pocket than I needed to because I do not have to be in network on my plan. I'm free to choose who I want for my care. That is the only problem that I had.

I would not go to another orthopedic office for my care. Dr Mark pierce has helped to regain my mobility, my quality of life , several times. knee replacement. Rotator cuff problems that had progressed to the point I could not function ,. He took the time and patience to get to the root of my pain..His staff and every staff member of Blue Ridge is .helpful and professional.

The interface between Prisma and AnMed My Chart could be better. My primary care physician is in the An Med system and I am not confident that my primary doctor is getting the information from the Prisma MyChart.

I cannot think of anything that would have improved my experience....everyone was so helpful and nice!!

Maybe to discuss the bone density results... and whether what I'm doing to treat the condition is good? The doctor did underline the importance of being on my feet, walking as much as I can... avoid using a hover-round. He knows I take Metagenics Bone Builder Forte and Bone Builder Prime. I have asked my previous doctors in NY to send my results from previous bone-density tests so that Dr. Pierce can compare my more recent results with them. Your office is sending a Medical Records Release Form to them (which I signed). The doctors in NY had advised against taking special medications, to avoid side effects. They thought that because of infantile polio, the medications wouldn't do much to improve my condition. What I need is IMPACT on the bones. But I know we have to keep an eye on this matter.
