So the one thing that would have made our appointment better is when we went to check in, there was only one receptionist there. And so we got there at 7:40 or a few minutes before to check in for a 7:40 appointment, and there was only one receptionist there. And so there probably ended up being about 20 different individuals or patients to sign in, you know, over the next 10, 15 minutes, and we were waiting for one computer to get started, and everyone just ended up being in a line. And so for a 7:40 appointment, you would think that there would be more staff on hand to get everybody checked in. So that would be the one thing that could have made our appointment much smoother because we didn't finish getting checked in until almost 8 o'clock. And then there are so many people after us to still get checked in.

Dr. Locke is the most well-respected and best medical provider that we have. There is nothing that can be done to improve his service.

Tech who took my son and I back could have had better bedside manner. Everyone else was great as always.

I actually feel as though everyone of our needs were addressed in this visit. I was most pleased that a diagnosis was made, and the medical device was fitted for my son in the same visit. This prevented us from needing to make an extra trip to obtain his equipment. The athletic trainer was knowledgeable and professional. She made sure we understood how to use the boot and addressed all our questions.

He's seems to be surgery happy. He's putting off doing MRI cause of no insurance but yet had a afo brace made for her foot and told me it would be around $300 but they want $504 and it was suppose to be a hinged brace but it was not so she cant use her ankle but didn't inform me that I could get a AFO brace online for her instead paying for a expensive one. I'd rather pay for a MRI to see if there's a tear rather than a brace to see if she has to have surgery in 2 wks when go back. Not counting making her feel uncomfortable at her last visit 2 wks ago.

Offered a little more information about treatment options before leaving and having the brace people come in. So many people were coming and going with the nurse leaving to get info twice, print paperwork, handing me paperwork while I'm talking to Dr, etc. It was hard to keep focus and ask my questions without losing my train of thought. Also, appointments are always overbooked. My appt was at 10:30. I arrived early. Dr did not come into room till 11:40. I left at 12. That is a ridiculous wait for 5 min of his time, and the rest was selling me a brace.

Noted in chart that there was a physical exam when the doctor never examined my child once. Orders given for PT from xray

Sent us home with some exercises to strengthen his shoulder since it was weak but not fractured I will say everyone was extremely friendly and that was great. We did wait over 30 minutes in the room to be seen without anyone letting us know anything

Appointment was scheduled for 3. Dr. did not come to the room until 4:30. Delays are expected, but it would have been nice to have someone step in to let us know an approximate time we would be seen.

Dr. Locke did not really listen at all. He talked over us.

Nothing. Everything and everyone was great.

It would have been helpful if someone would have called me to set an appointment rather than me following up with Prisma a week later because no one had called. My son had an arm that was not set for a week as a result of that. So better follow-up calls would be ideal.

The provider, while jolly and good with my child, didn't tell me anything specific about the diagnosis or treatment plan (like how long it'll take, what happens if don't treat, severity of diagnosis, etc) and I had no chance to ask questions. He left so suddenly and I assumed he'd come back but didn't.

Provide more accommodations for children with sensory issues/deficits. The waiting area is bright, loud and very busy.

It was an excellent experience visiting Dr. Lockes office. Everything from the wheelchairs & help when you first arrive to the first time, to the care given by everyone.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/15/2025
If I had to go back for any reason I would definitely not see Dr Locke. He didn't really seem like he cared and was more concerned with seeing the next patient. I'm happy we don't have to follow up with him anymore for my daughter

My child is a teenager. Rather than talking about her to me, why not talk directly to her?
