The service was wonderful.

The receptionist asked that I sign consent forms. I informed her I signed the forms on the "e-check in". She then checked and found that i had signed the forms. The person that took me to the room to be seen did not introduce herself or tell me her "position/role". She appeared to be having difficult with her laptop finding my information. I did say "excuse me, i don't think I heard you name and what your position is???" Then she told me her name and that she was a MA and appeared to relax and moved on with questions for me. I have been to the Steadman Hawkins Patewood office for years and the staff there seem much more oriented and have better customer service awareness than the Greer office.

Everything was great. There is not one thing that could have made my visit any better. The treatment was successful, I feel better today.

I was very impressed with the care and professionalism of the doctors who treated me.

The E-check-in process is very poorly designed and PRISMA and SH are failing their patients with the current practice. To complete E-check-in I was required to respond to SIX Questionnaires. I felt that the FIVE PROMIS Questionnaires were included simply as standard -- whether or not they directly pertained to a patient's specific case. (The PROMIS Physical Function questionnaire alone had over 150 questions!) This one-size-fits-all robotic practice is directly opposed to any notion of "offering support or improved trust and respect for patients". I suggest you review this practice, put some real thought into it, and reduce the E-check-in questions to only those truly relevant and necessary for all patients. Let providers ask their patients the few key questions needed to get the specific information required, instead of using multiple, over generalized questionnaires.

The wait was long. Wasn't sure if services were on a first come/first basis or not. Maybe not ,but I was able to get back to my job on time.

I was extremely pleased with the care, kindness and medical advice I received from the check in personnel, x ray technician, and doctor and the pasta's the desk who gave me directions when I arrived. I felt comfortable and at ease with Dr. Chowdhary the moment I met her. She gave me good advice on how to care for my shoulder pain and said to call if I needed anything. She was friendly and knowledgeable.

Room was freezing!

I was referred to an ortho after being seen in the same day clinic at IMA for what turned out to be a Baker's cyst behind my knee. The referral person wanted to schedule me with a surgeon, which I don't need first of all, and second of all did not ask me if I had a preference of provider. If I need a surgeon in the future I would want the option to research and choose my own, not be assigned to one. Former retired healthcare professional.

The only reason I didn't give you the highest rating for cleanliness is because evidently someone had been in the room with work boots on and the floor was muddy. Everything else from the lobby into the room was exceptionally clean. I was so thrilled to be saying that day that a little mud on the floor didn't bother me because I didn't have to sit on the floor.

Dr. CHOWDHARY was excellent. She examined the X-rays & my knee & quickly diagnosed the problem. She then drained the fluid from my knee. I initially encountered a 3 week wait when I first called for an appointment, but that was reduced to a 2 week wait lateral.
