Nothing,...PERFECT, as always!

I felt like just a number that had to be met for reaching a quota of patients

The way you guys could have helped me is by giving me a quicker appointment and answering my questions in MyChart at like, I guess, within 72 hours or my complaints that I have within 72 hours. But that's it.

I did not see Dr Tolan but maybe his resident doctor. I really liked him and he was extremely knowledgeable. Very impressed and definitely trust him. I wish I knew his name.

O was given the appointment through the school's trainer. Upon arrival for his 10a.m. appointment,the intake person began to get rude by saying my son did not have an appointment. I tried asking her to call someone in the back to ask why was there a mix up, but she continued to rudely say that there was nothing she could do. I showed her the text from the trainer and she responded by saying that it didn't matter she did not see it on the computer screen,very rude. I then took a seat and called the trainer myself, she apologized for the mix up and asked me to stand by while she straightened it. Eventually the trainer asked to speak to the intake lady explaining that she was the one who actually made the appointment for my son,and Eventually the matter was straightened out. I've never been handled this way at a doctor's appointment over an appointment mistake made on the medical personnel team. The intake lady needs to be trained better to handle situations as such, and taught to speak with customers better! She was very unprofessional, and didn't represent Dr. Tolan practice in a good light.

I am completely satisfied with the care I receive from Dr Tolan and his PA and feel extremely fortunate to have them as part of my health care team.

It would be nice to have a Prisma facility nearby. But my experience with Blue Ridge Orthopedic was unsatisfactory and I would prefer to be driven forty miles and have a successful procedure.

Everyone from receptionist to surgeon was GREAT

I was very disappointed with this appt which was a 12 week post op visit. First someone busts in and addresses me by the wrong name, they were in the wrong room. Then the PA came in, did an incredibly brief exam, didn't really discuss or explain things to/with me. I had a lot of concerns that went unanswered. He rushed out and said Dr. Tolan would be in. A few minutes later the PA returned and told me to come out of the room. Dr. Tolan was at the station kicked back in his chaur, barely looked at me and said come back in 2 months. This surgery was well over $30000 and as yet, I'm not much better than I was pre-op, yet I can't get anyone to listen. This was a major surgery with multiple procedures, yet the only thing Dr. Tolan has told me is that he "cleaned everything up". Fortunately I'm in the medical field and can read a surgical note otherwise I would be clueless. I felt rushed, pushed out, and given no chance to speak or be heard. There is still no AVS or clinical notes in MyChart from this visit. At my next visit things WILL be different or I will keep sitting there. The after care has not matched the pre-op. The nurses have been wonderful though.

Overall great care. Very efficient operation. Appreciated the apparent focus to solve the problem. Advice and follow up plan sounded reasonable and a path to final resolution was available.

I had to wait a week for an appointment with a broken clavicle which was very stressful. Why so long to see a doctor

My MRI and other previous imaging was not available or reviewed. It was a waste of time and money for additional X-rays to be performed. The Dr and staff did not explore non surgical option or ask about my goals. The diagnostic process was completely non-existent.

Talked to me a bit more about a referral for a back specialist to help me with my back issues.

Service is always A-1

Doctor, it said I would need PT but didn't explain how I go about getting it or if I needed to do anything toward getting it. Told me I'd have a five pack and how to take it. But didn't tell me that he was calling the prescription in. He said I would need to come back in 6 weeks. But didn't make an appointment or tell me how to go about making that appointment. I ended up calling back and asking these questions. Also, when I came into the building I found where Dr. Tolan was on first floor. There was no explanation that I was in a lobby, not on first floor but on the lower level. That could be explained a little bit better. There was no one at the desk to ask where I needed to go. I ended up asking another patient. She said she had made the same mistake.

Dr. Tolan was polite and helpful. He answered all of my questions and concerns.

I could not expect any better treatment at all. I'm very pleased with the whole experience.

Better prepare patients for the ambiguity associated with the recovery process - I probably want to hear and act on best-case scenarios and was under the impression I would be closer to "normal" at this stage.

It would be nice to have the prescription sent in to my pharmacy!
