Whitney Bridges, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Prisma Health Pediatric Gastroenterology in Columbia. Born and raised in Upstate South Carolina, she received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Bridges worked as a pediatric nurse for almost 15 years before joining the Prisma Health Pediatric Gastroenterology division. She is an active member of the South Carolina chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and she was a recipient of the 2026 Palmetto Gold Graduate Nurse Scholarship award.
Bridges enjoys caring for children of all ages and has a special place in her heart for children with medically complex needs. She is passionate about working with children and their families to develop a treatment plan that best fits their needs and help improve their quality of life.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, exploring the Columbia area and relaxing with her dogs.
