Emily N Neger, PhD

Emily Neger, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in developmental pediatrics at Prisma Health, in Columbia, South Carolina. She specializes in autism assessments for children across the developmental age span, from 18 months to 18 years. She enjoys working with families to help them understand their children, enhance access to services and encourage positive parenting techniques. With a background in teaching and research, Dr. Neger loves to learn about new development in the field of psychology, especially related to how the brain grows and develops. She is excited to use this knowledge to improve patient outcomes. In her spare time, Dr. Neger enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters and rooting on the Gamecocks as well as her beloved New York Mets.
