Tyler Matthew Bien, MD

Tyler Bien, MD, was born and raised in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. He completed undergraduate studies in physiology at the University of Arizona in Tucson and returned to his home city for medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix. Residency brought him to Upstate South Carolina, where he completed training with the Prisma Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Greenville. Dr. Bien has special interests in disease prevention, chronic disease management and lifestyle medicine (especially nutrition). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, cooking and trying new foods, staying active, exploring music and art, and vegetable gardening.
