Andrew Sims, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care through partnership, education and advocacy. After earning a B.S. in biology from Furman University, he went on to obtain his nursing degree from Chamberlain University, Chicago, Illinois, and later his MSN there and ultimately the education for his FNP at its college of nursing. He works alongside his patients and their families to promote health, prevent disease and minimize negative health outcomes whenever possible. He is committed to establishing and fostering trusted partnerships with patients to support lifelong health and well-being. He treats every patient with the same respect, empathy and quality of care he would expect for his own family. When not at work, he loves spending time outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, running and college football (Furman and USC Gamecocks). In the fall, you will typically find him at Furman at Saturday home games. He also enjoys spending free time with family and friends.

I do not think that Dr. Andrew could have done anything better during my appointment. He was the most intelligent, personable, compassionate and informed Practitioner I have ever met in my life. The only thing I could request is for him to make no change with anything at all.

I came in with a pain and got an appointment immediately, but I had previously scheduled an appointment for a physical, which they scheduled 90 days out... they may have discovered my condition prior had I got a physical appointment faster. The people in the office were all exceptional.
